Overview
The 40-254-031 (PXI) and 42-254-031 (PXIe) are programmable resistor modules with 1 channel which can be set between 1Ω and 13.6Ω with 0.25Ω resolution
The 40-254 range provides a simple solution for applications requiring up to 15W of power handling per channel.
The 40-254 is available in a variety of resistance ranges and resolution capabilities that meet the needs of
most functional test systems. Each channel is able to simulate short or open circuit conditions that can be experienced
in a system caused by faulty wiring or sensors.
The 40/42-254 range is available in 28 standard builds that suit the most common configurations:
- Narrow resistance range versions, available in 1 or 2 channel variants
- Medium resistance range version, available in 1 channel variants
- Wide resistance range version, available in 1 channel variants
A calibration cable assembly can be attached to the module in place of the UUT to enable a DMM to be used for verifying
the resistor channels, considerably simplifying the checking of the module's calibration.
